Job title Qatar Duty Free \- Manpower \& Payroll Assistant Ref \# 227921 Location Qatar \- Doha Job family Customer Service * Closing date: 02\-Nov\-2025 **About the role** The Manpower and Payroll Assistant is responsible for trouble shooting and arrive at a solution of payroll related activities. Handling daily operations for the administration of roster of Retail Operations staff; and respond to all queries raised by staff and Managers with relation to payroll in a timely manner, adhering to the general and pay policies, procedures and programs by providing timely and efficient service to employees, that will have effect on salaries. Coordinate and initiate new requirement and assist in implementation of new changes closely liaising with IT and related users. **Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:** * Carry out all payroll related activities, follow all eTAS/Payroll guidelines, actively follow up with employees and line managers ensuring documents submitted to HR are accurate, and in a timely manner: * Review Retail roster by ensuring the compliance with QR attendance policy. * Upload duty roster in eTAS (Electronic Time and Attendance System) for all employees, ensuring all rosters are uploaded timely, and any changes made on employee schedule are updated in the system on time to avoid any discrepancies and ensuring system accuracy. * Consolidate all overtime or Lieu off request for all Retail employees; provide guidance to line manager and employee on the policies and procedure to ensure the form are completed on time and to obtain necessary approval prior to submission. * Prepare monthly Absent Report, perform spot check on the absent days against attendance report, clock in/out details, medical certificate, ensuring all discrepancies are addressed to HR/IT for necessary correction prior to submission. * Prepare and share monthly late coming and early departure summary report with all HODs for their attention, highlight any trends and possible recommendations for their consideration to improve employee time keeping performance. * Coordinate the process between employees, HR and line managers for any vacation extension requests, keep track of all request, actively following up with staff on the progress and update relevant stakeholders for action and ensure all formalities are completed according to the company procedures. * Report and document all staff absence (sickness or other unauthorized leave) internally, ensure all support available are offered to the staff and all parties are informed, addressing any concerns observed to line manager for attention and necessary actions. * If new T\&A process is implemented, promote awareness of the process to all Retail employees to ensure all are working towards the same direction (e.g. notice board, emails, and briefings). * Coordinate and monitor Retail employees' duty travel requests, special events and training attendance where there is no T\&A machines. * Assist the Manpower Analyst to calculate commission and incentive (general shift commission, car draw and excess baggage incentive). * Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed b the Head of the Department. **Be part of an extraordinary story** Your skills. To us, impossible is only a challenge. ### **Qualifications** **About you** The successful candidate will have the following: * Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent * Minimum of 1 year of job\-related experience * Database administration experience **Job Specific Skills:** * Client focused and business aware, with interaction to senior management level. * Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Oracle. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Strong interpersonal and team working skills. * Demonstrable planning skills and strong attention to detail. * High level of sensitivity and professionalism. * Self\-starter, having the ability to work independently with minimal instructions. * Proven ability to work under pressure to defined timescales.
