**Job Summary:** The Waiter in catering service is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service during catered events. This includes setting up service areas, serving guests in a polite and efficient manner, and ensuring a positive dining experience that meets the company’s quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Set up tables, dining areas, and buffet stations according to event specifications and company standards. * Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout the event. * Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, following the proper sequence and etiquette. * Clear plates, glasses, and utensils efficiently to maintain a clean and organized dining area. * Respond to guest inquiries and requests politely and promptly. * Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the service area. * Collaborate with catering team members to ensure smooth service flow during events. * Handle any guest complaints or issues tactfully, escalating to supervisors when necessary. * Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations strictly. * Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of the catering setup post\-event. **Qualifications:** * Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in catering or hospitality. * Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays or plates safely. * Friendly, patient, and customer\-focused attitude. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. **Skills:** * Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. * Teamwork and cooperation. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast\-paced environment. * Basic math skills for handling billing or orders if necessary.
