Summary: Seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to manage and supervise drainage network operations, maintenance, and project lifecycles within a multidisciplinary organization. Highlights: 1. Ensure compliance with procedures and drive change initiatives **Senior Civil Engineer** **Location:** Qatar **Requirements** * Minimum **Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering** or a related discipline. * Degree obtained from **North America, Western Europe, or Australia**. * Chartered Membership in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering) is an advantage. * Minimum **10 years of cumulative experience in Drainage Networks**, including at least **3 years of experience managing contractors and leading teams**. * Experience working in a multidisciplinary organization, preferably in the Middle East. * Strong knowledge and experience in Contract Management. * Proven ability to support and deliver change initiatives. * Good understanding of Quality, Health \& Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and regulations. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage Framework Contractor maintenance, cleaning activities, and RRRU works related to all three systems (**Foul Water, Surface Ground Water (SGW), and Treated Water (TW)**) to ensure the availability, maintainability, and reliability of DNO\&M assets within the assigned catchment zone. * Direct and supervise team members to ensure Framework Contractors comply with all contractual obligations. * Review annual preventive maintenance and repair schedules submitted by Framework Contractors and provide recommendations to minimize service downtime. * Advise contractors on improvement initiatives aimed at reducing maintenance time and costs while maintaining system availability. * Participate in investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting related to customer inquiries, asset failures, and flooding incidents. * Ensure incidents and emergencies reported by DNO\&M Customer Service teams, external stakeholders, or other parties are addressed and resolved promptly by Framework Contractors. * Review tender documents for capital maintenance works (RRRU works). * Lead all phases of the project lifecycle for new RRRU works based on catchment requirements. * Provide technical and commercial support to engineers on matters related to framework contracts and associated risks. * Ensure team and Framework Contractor compliance with all procedures related to the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and other DNO\&M systems, identifying and eliminating redundant or duplicate activities.
