**Job Purpose:** To perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of overhead cranes and lifting equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting systems. * Inspect and test electrical control systems, motors, wiring, panels, and safety devices. * Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, drives, and PLC systems related to crane operations. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. * Ensure compliance with safety standards, lock\-out/tag\-out (LOTO), and electrical codes. * Support mechanical team during crane installation, commissioning, and upgrades. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and documentation. * Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure quick resolution to maintain operations. * Assist in periodic crane load testing, inspections, and statutory compliance checks. * Collaborate with operations and HSE teams to ensure safe working conditions. **Qualifications \& Experience:** * Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. * Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in overhead cranes and lifting equipment. * Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, motors, VFDs, and PLC systems. * Familiarity with safety standards, PTW systems, and industrial regulations. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals. * Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.
