Projects Engineer (Civil)

Description

Summary: Manage and supervise fire-rated doors and passive fire protection projects, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with standards. Highlights: 1. Manage fire-rated doors & passive fire protection projects 2. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors 3. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality procedures **Responsibilities:** * Manage and supervise fire\-rated doors and passive fire protection projects from initiation to completion. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution. * Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents. * Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of all activities. * Conduct site inspections and oversee installation activities to ensure compliance with approved standards and project requirements. * Prepare technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and project reports. * Monitor project costs and support in controlling budgets and resource allocation. * Attend project meetings and provide technical support to stakeholders. * Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities. * Ensure adherence to health, safety, quality, and company procedures throughout project execution. * Identify project risks and proactively implement corrective actions to avoid delays. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in **Civil Engineering**. * Minimum **3–5 years of experience** in managing projects related to **Fire\-Rated Doors, Passive Fire Protection Systems, or the construction industry**. * Strong knowledge of passive fire protection standards, fire\-rated door systems, and construction practices. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications. * Experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem\-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools. * Valid Qatar Driving License will be an added advantage. * Candidates currently available in Qatar will be preferred.
