Adjust oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures. Remove frozen food items from freezers and defrost in refrigerators. Verify proper quantities and arrangements, and food garnishes. Maintain food records. Monitor quality and quantity of prepared food. Provide necessary support during busy periods. Inform chefs of leftover food items for daily specials. Notify food and beverage service staff of special menus and sold-out menu items. Check food quality. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. Prepare cold food items. Support management in employee recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching, and serve as a role model. Comply with all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report service deficiencies, accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management, and complete required safety training and certifications. Maintain uniform and personal appearance neatly and professionally, protect confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets. Anticipate and address customer service needs. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team in achieving common goals, listen to other employees' concerns, and respond appropriately. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
