Involves reviewing and approving shop drawings We are looking for a qualified **Electrical Engineer** to join our engineering consultancy office. The candidate will be responsible for electrical design, reviewing shop drawings, technical coordination, and site follow\-up when required. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare electrical design drawings (Lighting, Power, Low Current). * Review and approve shop drawings. * Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines. * Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and submissions. * Conduct site visits and ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS). **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. * Minimum **5 years of experience** in Qatar or within consultancy/contracting firms. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design standards. * **Mandatory:** UPDA **Grade A** classification (MMUP). * **Mandatory:** Valid **QCDD Certificate** (Civil Defense). * Experience with QCDD submissions and approvals is an advantage. * Transferable visa preferred. **Salary:** **To be determined during the interview.** **How to Apply:** Please send your CV to: **careers@mdcqa.com** Job Types: Full\-time, Temporary Contract length: 12000 months Work Location: In person
