Job Summary: A Principal Structural Engineer leads the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings and industrial facilities, supervises technical teams to ensure compliance with international standards, and delivers complex engineering solutions. Provision of engineering solutions for complex problems **Principal Structural Engineer** Key Responsibilities: * Lead structural design and analysis for buildings and industrial facilities. * Review and approve engineering drawings and designs. * Ensure compliance with international codes and standards such as ACI, AISC, and Eurocodes. * Supervise structural engineering teams and provide technical guidance. * Perform structural analysis using specialized engineering software. * Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and electrical (MEP) teams. * Assess structural risks and ensure structural safety. * Provide engineering solutions for complex project challenges. * Review contracts and technical specifications. * Prepare technical reports for senior management and clients. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. * 12–20 years of experience in structural engineering. * Experience in large-scale projects (high-rise buildings, industrial facilities, infrastructure). * Proficiency in structural analysis software including: * ETABS * SAP2000 * STAAD Pro * Strong knowledge of international codes and standards. Preferred Certifications: * Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent * PMP (an added advantage) * Certifications in advanced structural design Required Skills: * Advanced structural analysis and design. * Technical leadership and supervision. * Solving complex engineering problems. * Managing multidisciplinary teams. * Technical communication with clients and contractors. * Accuracy and attention to detail.
