Role Overview The **Database Administrator** will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing databases that support the company’s logistics and operational systems. This role requires technical expertise, problem\-solving skills, and the ability to ensure data integrity and availability. Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, and maintain database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.). * Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies. * Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery processes. * Collaborate with IT and operations teams to support application development and integration. * Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions. * Develop and maintain documentation for database architecture and processes. * Ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and international data management standards. * Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * 3–7 years of experience as a Database Administrator. * Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance tuning. * Experience with cloud\-based databases and data migration is a plus. * Familiarity with data security protocols and compliance frameworks. * Excellent problem\-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. * Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, multicultural environment.
