Support construction projects with fire and life safety expertise. **Senior Fire \& Life Safety Engineer (12\-Month Contract)** ============================================================ **Contract Type:** Freelance (12 Months) **Location:** Doha, Qatar Al Jazeera Media Network is seeking an experienced **Senior Fire \& Life Safety Engineer** to oversee fire protection, life safety compliance, and risk mitigation across the Network, technical facilities, studios, and critical infrastructure.### **Key Responsibilities** * Lead fire and life safety inspections, audits, investigations, and compliance reviews across AJMN facilities. * Ensure all fire detection, alarm, suppression, and life safety systems are fully operational and compliant with applicable codes and standards. * Review and approve fire protection designs, shop drawings, material submissions, and as\-built documentation. * Monitor contractor and vendor performance, conduct site inspections, and manage punch lists through completion. * Support construction, renovation, and expansion projects by providing fire and life safety expertise. * Conduct annual facility assessments and recommend corrective actions and risk mitigation measures. * Deliver fire safety training and awareness programs. * Participate in tender evaluations and technical assessments of contractors and suppliers. * Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for management and stakeholders. ### **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline. * Minimum 5 years' experience in Fire \& Life Safety, Fire Protection Engineering, or a similar role. * Strong knowledge of international fire codes, standards, and compliance requirements. * Experience reviewing construction projects, fire systems, and technical infrastructure. * Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to work independently in a complex operational environment. **Contract Type:** Freelance (12 Months) **Location:** Doha, Qatar
