In this role, you will serve as the first line of support for internal employees, helping to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. You will also assist with system maintenance, user account management, and IT asset inventory. **Key Responsibilities** **User Support (Help Desk)** * Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system. * Troubleshoot basic issues related to Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, printers, and VPN access. * Reset passwords and manage user permissions in Active Directory / Azure AD. **Hardware \& Software Management** * Set up and configure new workstations, laptops, monitors, and peripherals. * Install, update, and troubleshoot approved software applications. * Assist with mobile device management (MDM) for company phones/tablets. **Network \& Security** * Monitor basic network connectivity (Wi\-Fi, ethernet) and escalate complex issues. * Assist in applying security patches and antivirus updates. * Ensure backup procedures are followed (e.g., OneDrive, local backups). **Administrative Tasks** * Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets (serial numbers, user assignments). * Document common fixes and update internal knowledge bases (Wiki/Confluence). * Coordinate warranty repairs and vendor returns. **Qualifications** **Education \& Experience** * Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience). * 0–2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role (internships count). **Technical Skills** * Familiarity with **Windows 10/11** and **macOS**. * Basic understanding of **networking** (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi\-Fi). * Experience with **Microsoft 365** (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and **Active Directory**. * Ability to troubleshoot common printer, scanner, and peripheral issues. * (Nice to have) Basic knowledge of **Linux command line** or **scripting** (PowerShell/Bash). **Soft Skills** * Strong verbal and written communication skills (ability to explain tech to non\-tech users). * Patience and customer\-service orientation. * Excellent organization and time management. * Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., monitors, desktop PCs).
