Maintain facility aesthetics through touch-up painting and restoration We are seeking a skilled Painter to carry out painting, surface preparation, finishing, and maintenance works within facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of buildings, structures, and facility assets while ensuring high\-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective painting maintenance works for buildings, facilities, and related infrastructure. * Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and applying primers as required. * Apply paints, varnishes, coatings, and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, doors, furniture, and structural elements. * Inspect painted surfaces and identify areas requiring repair or repainting. * Carry out touch\-up painting and restoration works to maintain facility aesthetics. * Select and mix paints to achieve required colors and finishes. * Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of painting materials and equipment. * Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition. * Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities. * Prepare maintenance records and report completed works to the supervisor. **Qualifications \& Requirements:** * Minimum 1\-Year Professional Trade Course Certificate in Painting, Civil Maintenance, or a related trade. * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the service sector, facilities management, or maintenance environment. * Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, finishing materials, and application methods. * Ability to work with various paints, coatings, and finishing products. * Experience in healthcare facilities maintenance will be an added advantage. * Good communication and teamwork skills. **Preferred Skills:** * Experience in interior and exterior painting works within commercial, residential, or institutional facilities. * Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. * Knowledge of workplace safety practices and painting standards. * Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
