Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment **Job Description: Store Keeper / Inventory Associate** **Job Summary** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and dependable Store Keeper / Inventory Associate to manage all aspects of inventory control and warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring the warehouse remains organized and safe . The ideal candidate is highly organized, physically capable, and committed to accuracy in every task. **Key Responsibilities** Receiving \& Shipping * Receive and inspect all incoming shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and count, logging any damages or discrepancies against delivery notes and purchase orders . * Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items . * Support shipping operations by preparing items for delivery, creating packing slips, labeling, and preparing freight documentation . * Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks . Inventory Management \& Control * Organize, label, and store items in designated warehouse locations to facilitate easy access and efficient retrieval . * Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inventory movements using inventory management systems and log books . * Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits to verify stock levels . * Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by cross\-referencing records, invoices, and physical stock . * Monitor stock levels and initiate re\-orders when supplies fall below designated par or minimum levels to prevent shortages . * Implement stock rotation procedures (e.g., FIFO \- First In, First Out) to manage expiry dates and maintain product freshness . Warehouse \& Safety Operations * Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including sweeping, dust control, and waste disposal . * Operate and perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs . * Adhere strictly to all safety, environmental, and quality standards and procedures . * Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, logistics, and production, to ensure the timely availability of materials . **Qualifications \& Requirements**Education \& Experience * High school diploma or equivalent is typically required . * **1\-4 years of experience** in a warehouse, inventory control, or storekeeping role is generally preferred . Skills \& Abilities * **Strong Organizational Skills:** Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently . * **Attention to Detail:** High degree of accuracy in record\-keeping, counting, and inspecting items . * **Physical Stamina:** Ability to stand, walk, and lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods . * **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and familiarity with inventory management software . * **Communication Skills:** Clear and professional communication with vendors, team members, and management . Preferred Qualifications * Valid forklift operator certification . * Experience with specific industry standards (e.g., food safety, sneaker industry) is a plus Pay: QAR1,831\.03 \- QAR4,886\.51 per month Work Location: In person
