Ensure quality control, compliance, and effective risk management **Construction Project Manager** **Job Summary** The Construction Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. The CPM coordinates with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams while managing documentation, progress monitoring, and resource allocation to ensure smooth project delivery . **Key Responsibilities** **Project Planning \& Scheduling** * Develop comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures, and construction timelines * Create and maintain detailed schedules using project management software * Sequence activities to maximize efficiency across single or multiple sites **Budget \& Cost Management** * Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and expense tracking * Review requisitions, change orders, and invoices; confer with clients on cost impacts * Implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within financial constraints **Team Leadership \& Coordination** * Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors * Facilitate coordination meetings to ensure clear communication among all parties * Resolve conflicts and maintain a productive work environment **Client \& Stakeholder Management** * Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle * Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients * Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables **Quality Control \& Compliance** * Monitor work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations * Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents * Track punch lists, close\-out tasks, and final turnover documents **Risk Management** * Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies * Troubleshoot issues that could delay progress, affect quality, or increase costs * Manage change orders and resolve technical or operational issues promptly **Documentation \& Reporting** * Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, change orders, site instructions, and progress reports * Manage project closeout process including final inspections and client turnover * Conduct lessons learned and implement findings for continuous improvement **QualificationsEducation** * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field * Advanced degree or relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE II) preferred **Experience** * **5\+ years** of directly related experience in construction project management * Proven track record of successfully completed projects from initiation to completion * Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously * Supervisory experience in leading, motivating, and developing employees **Technical Skills** * Proficiency in project management software: **Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore** * Knowledge of **AutoCAD, SketchUp**, and other design/rendering applications * Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and contract management * Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings * Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards **Core Competencies** * **Leadership**: Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive project success * **Communication**: Excellent oral and written communication with stakeholders at all levels * **Organization**: Strong attention to detail, multi\-tasking, and time management skills * **Problem\-Solving**: Strong analytical and decision\-making abilities * **Financial Acumen**: Budget management, cost control, and contract negotiation skills **Additional Requirements (Varies by Position)** * Valid driver's license; ability to drive both motorcycle and car (some positions) * Willingness to work on\-site, travel, or work extended hours as needed * Willingness to work Monday to Saturday or weekends as required **Preferred Qualifications** * **PMP (Project Management Professional)** certification or equivalent * Experience with **tenant improvement** or **fit\-out** construction projects * Experience with large\-scale or complex construction projects * Knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions or similar standard form contracts * Familiarity with **BIM (Building Information Modeling)** processes * Experience in specific sectors: commercial, residential, industrial, life sciences, or infrastructure Pay: QAR140,000\.00 \- QAR210,000\.00 per year Work Location: In person
