Monitor inventory, forecast needs, and ensure product quality and compliance * Purchase food products, beverages, packaging materials, cleaning supplies, and kitchen equipment according to operational requirements. * Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery performance. * Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings. * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with chefs and kitchen management to forecast purchasing needs. * Generate purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods. * Verify received products against purchase orders and quality specifications. * Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier records. * Conduct regular market research to identify new products, suppliers, and cost\-saving opportunities. * Coordinate with the finance department regarding invoices, payments, and budget compliance. * Ensure all purchased products meet food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements. * Monitor stock usage and minimize waste through effective inventory control. * Resolve supplier issues related to shortages, quality concerns, and delivery delays. * Support periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
