Support banquet events, weddings, and VIP functions JOB POST: F\&B Captain / Team Leader \- Doha, Qatar Company: Plaza Inn Hotel Location: Doha, Qatar Department: Food \& Beverage Job Type: Full\-time \| In\-person About the Role Plaza Inn Hotel is looking for experienced \*F\&B Captains and Team Leaders\* to join our team in our 4\-star hotel in Doha. You will lead service teams, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain the highest standards of food \& beverage service. Key Responsibilities \- Supervise and guide wait staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations \- Ensure excellent guest service and handle guest complaints professionally \- Train new staff on service standards, SOPs, and upselling techniques \- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and HACCP/Food Safety standards \- Assist F\&B Manager with scheduling, inventory, and cost control \- Coordinate with Kitchen, Bar, and other departments \- Support banquet events, weddings, and VIP functions when required \- Promote menu items and maximize revenue through upselling Requirements \- 2\-3 years experience as Captain/Team Leader in 4\-star or 5\-star hotel or upscale restaurant \- Experience in Qatar/GCC is preferred \- Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety standards \- Strong leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills \- Fluent in English.
